Permanent Position: Long Haul Truck Driver(NOC #73300)

Wage Rate: $28.85Hourly, for 40-60 hours per week
Terms of Employment:Permanent, Full Time, day, morning, evening,overtime if required.
Education:High School.
Experience:No experienced required. on job training will be provided.
Languages: English.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement or an equivalent license in anotherjurisdiction.

Job Duties:
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
Loading and unloading of goods.
Plan travel schedules and routes use atlases and other trip planning aids.
Receive and relay information to central dispatcher.
Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
Perform brake adjustments.
Perform pre-trip, in route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
Other: Operate units; hauling freight throughout Canada/U.S.Candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
