Employment Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or an HR-related discipline is required
- Master in business administration or an HR-related discipline is an asset
- A minimum of 9-10 years of professional HR experience is required
- A minimum of 4-5 years of management experience is required
- A minimum of 2-3 years of senior HR management experience is required
- Experience working in a professional pharmaceutical environment is required
- Key HR competencies:
- Solid background of technical HR discipline including but not limited: Talent Acquisition, Performance & Reward, ER, L&D, Organizational transformation, HR systems
- Strategic planning ability to develop impactful HR strategies that meet long- and short-term goals
- Expertise in talent management to develop high performing, diverse, sustainable talent pools
- Strong business acumen to integrate internal and external business drivers and financial insights to deliver excellent talent outcomes for the business
Job Duties:
- Drive the creation and deployment of the full spectrum of HR strategies, policies, and standard operation procedures in support of sector/function goals
- Shape the business’ immediate objectives and its long-term strategy from the lens of HR and through strong collaborations with coordinate with other departments’ leads
- Delegate staff and oversee the execution all HR ongoing programs related to talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, people management, employee relations and change management
- Manage HR’s annual budget to allocate sufficient resources to effectively implement crucial organizational programs such as recruiting specialized staff, competency training, and retaining talents
- Lead, mentor, and guides senior business leaders in the application of HR standard operation procedure, policies and practices
- Drive the strategic workforce planning activities
- Coach business partners and senior leaders across the business to drive important people strategy/ talent actions to achieve their goals and the organization’s overall ambitions
- Work in full partnership with other internal team leaders to
- define key senior and specialized roles
- authorize proper recruitment activities
- sign off on final hiring and package(s)
- approve key management aspects of HR portfolio for all employees
- Provide recommendations and guidance on complex HR issues to minimize risks and financial exposure
- Provide consultations and timely approvals for solutions on Employee Relations issues, as needed
- Liaise with legal advisor(s)/external counsel(s) to act on behalf of the company from the HR perspective to deliver local specific requirements (reporting, audits, etc.), to ensure strict compliance to local laws and regulations, and to effectively interface/ address HR-related matters with labour authorities, as needed
- Embrace the company’s vision to develop organizational structure and deploy change management to the new HR model through 2024 - 2025
