Job description:

Masala Tree exemplifies an exclusive blend of traditional and radical renditions of Indian cuisine, which is rooted to the gravitas of the unique Indian spices, aromas and flavors. We are looking for two servers to join our restaurant.

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Salary: $18.25/ hour for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Education: High School required
Experience: No experience needed, training will be provided.

The server will have to perform following duties:

•  Greet patrons, make them have a seat and present the menu.
• Exceptional Customer service skills – able satisfy and exceed guest expectation
• Make recommendations and information about the daily specials for customers
• Answer the questions regarding food and beverages.
• Take orders and relay to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food as per the order places by the customer.
• Present bill to patrons and accept payment.

• Keep the tables clean and chairs.
• Organize sitting area as per the seating plan.
• Maintain all the safety procedures for the customers and working staff.
• Assist all clients/guests and those with special needs.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment in the kitchen and restaurant

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; Standing for extended periods, physically demanding; Be able to work day, evening, morning, night and weekend shifts.
