Sunora is expanding its sales operations in Europe and West Africa, and we require a Logistics Coordinator that has an understanding of the edible oil value
Job description:
Position Summary
The core focus of the Logistics Coordinator activity is to carry out the full processing of customer orders in close cooperation with the partner departments involved in the supply chain, as well as to organize and control the transport tasks related to customer orders.
Assist the Transfer Facility Supervisor with rail car ordering, positioning to load and shipments.
Assist Transfer Facility Supervisor in controlling rail service charges for the Europe and West Africa destinations.
Administrative and Clerical support for Export Managers
Core Functions
Daily contact with customers: processing the customer purchase order and prioritize the related transport and distribution
Handling eventual emerging issues (i.e. quality) and complaints- 20-25 customers, mainly located in Europe and West Africa
Continuous contact with the logistic service providers
Order and follow-up the transport from service providers (via road, railways, and ocean,)
Supervise the stock levels and customer’s invoice status
Handle the incoming and outbound commercial and freight invoices
Keeping daily contact with other Sunora Foods departments, Europe and West Africa plants
Provide exact and up-to-date data for maintaining customer database and freight conditions
Other job duties as assigned
Skill/Experience Requirements:
At least 3-5 years of experience in customer service and transport organization
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
MS Office- intermediate (especially Excel knowledge)
SAP knowledge is a plus
Working knowledge of Access Database is a plus
Self-starter with strong commitment to continuous learning
Strong leadership competencies and commitment to Sunora's core values
Strong problem solving, analytical and organization skills
Able to work in team environment
This position will require travel of 25% - 35%.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey information and ideas. French is a plus
Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy; and be very organized
