Required: Baker
Chandni Victoria Convention Centre
2935 Drew Rd., Mississauga, ON, L4T 0A1
Salary: $18/hr
Hours: 37 to 40 hours per week
Position being offered is Full-time & Permanent
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Measuring, combining ingredients, and using mixers, blenders, heat sources and other equipment to make baked goods.
- Mix, prepare dough for puff pastries, breads, rolls and sweet goods, batter for muffins.
- Mix and prepare batter for cakes including icing and frosting according to recipes.
- Bake mixed doughs and batters.
- Prepare special and customize orders for customers.
- Decorate cakes and other baked products.
- Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
- Inspect kitchen and food service area.
- Cleaning and restocking workstations and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift.
- Train and supervise newly hired bakers.
- Keep track of the inventory and ordered supplies as per the schedule and requirement.
Language: English
Qualifications:
- Completion of High school
- 1 to 7 months of relevant experience
