Job title: Multimedia Consultant (NOC - 21233)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (36hr/week)

Wage: C$32.00/hr.
Language Requirement: English.
Experience: 2 to 3 years
Start Date: As soon as possible
Qualification: Senior Secondary (High) School Certificate with relevant education from a program of 1 to 2 years or certificate in web designing or related field.

Job Duties:
- Collaborate with the clients to understand needs and objectives and create visual communication materials that align with their needs.
- Establish design guidelines, standards and optimal design practices.
- Maintain the appearance of Web site by applying content standards.
- Integrate features and functionalities into Website as per the requirement.
- Create and optimize content of the Website using variety of graphics, database, and multimedia strategies, plans and software that outline the project scope, content structure, user experience, and distribution channels.
- Design the visual imagery for website.
- Collect feedback from clients and end-users and use it to make necessary improvements.
- Test and improve the design of a Web site
- May lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Web site graphics, content, capacity and interactivity
- Conduct through quality checks to insure that multimedia content meets the highest standards
- Ensure that multimedia content adheres to copyright laws and intellectual property rights. Obtain necessary licenses and permissions when using third-party content.
Knowledge, skills & Abilities:
- Proven knowledge of effective design in a variety of media (print brochures, posters, magazine layout, digital etc.)
- Proficient in: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.
- Advanced computer skills with web-based content management systems, Microsoft Office, design and video editing software, file management and transfer systems
- Demonstrated understanding of structure and function of websites and other e-communication tools

- Influential interpersonal skills and knowledge of approaches and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner at all levels of the organization

- Proven ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize with an eye to consistently producing high-quality work and meeting deadlines in a demanding environment
