Elderly Caregiver needed in Ontario

We are a small family and are looking for a reliable, friendly, organized and dedicated caregiver for an elderly lady who is a septuagenarian and needs help in her daily chores due to her compromised health. We are looking for a caregiver who is ready to take care of her in our absence at our house located at Freelton, Ontario, L0R 1K0

Job title: Elderly Caregiver

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40hr/week)

Vacancy: 1

Wage: C$22.00/hr.

Language Requirement: English.

Qualification: Senior Secondary (High) School Certificate.

Experience: 1 month to 7 months.

Start Date: As soon as possible

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Give medicine as prescribed by the doctor.
• Assist client in regular exercises as prescribed.  
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of the householder and stay with the elderly someone is at home.  
• Take elderly to and from appointments.
• Launder clothes of the elderly
• Tend to her emotional well-being.
• Supervise and take care of her.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals as prescribe by doctor.
• Assist in personal care services, such as oral hygiene and grooming
• Patient enough to understand what she speaks as her one part of vocal cord is paralyzed.
• Perform hygiene maintenance activities such as cleaning up after meals and laundry of soiled bedding and clothing.
