Salary: $ 30.25 hourly / 35 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to plan and design landscaping projects, considering factors like budget, timeline, and client preferences.
- Conduct site assessments to make recommendations for improvements or enhancements.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of landscaping crews, including laborers, equipment operators, and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to specifications.
- Manage resources, including equipment, materials, and labor, to ensure they are used effectively and cost-efficiently.
- Choose appropriate plants, trees, shrubs, and other landscaping elements based on the project's goals, climate, and soil conditions.
- Oversee the installation of hardscaping elements such as pathways, retaining walls, and irrigation systems, ensuring they are functional and aesthetically pleasing.
- Monitor project expenses, keep track of costs, and work within the allocated budget, making adjustments as needed.
- Inspect the work to ensure that landscaping features are installed correctly, meet design specifications, and are of high quality.
- Develop work schedules and timelines, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within the defined schedule.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A CEGEP/ college diploma or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement.
- Several years of relevant experience in landscaping and construction are required. The number of years can vary from 3 to 5 years or more.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, including the ability to manage and coordinate teams of laborers and subcontractors.
- Knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety protocols is also important.
- Skills in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling are valuable for overseeing landscaping projects effectively.
- Effective communication skills are vital for interacting with clients, team members, and subcontractors.
- The ability to identify and address issues that may arise during landscaping projects, making quick and effective decisions.
