Location: Mississauga, ON L5B 1M5

Salary: $ 28.20 hourly / 35 hours per week

Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day office operations, including organizing files, supplies, and equipment.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails, and phone calls.
  • Coordinating appointments, meetings, and events for the organization.
  • Maintaining and updating records, databases, and other important documents.
  • Inputting and managing data, often using software and spreadsheets.
  • Providing support to other staff members and the department as needed.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial record-keeping.
  • Preparing reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Organizing and maintaining physical and digital files.
  • Ensuring that office policies and procedures are followed.
  • Communicating with colleagues and clients as necessary.
  • Resolving administrative issues and challenges as they arise.
  • Booking travel and accommodations for staff when necessary.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent is typically the minimum educational requirement for this job. 
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Previous experience of a minimum of 2 to less than 3 years is required. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial.
  • Ability to support both external and internal stakeholders through accurate reporting.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail are important in this role.
  • Familiarity with IT-related terminology and concepts is a plus.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively is highly valued.
