Metal casting, nodular cast iron, pattern making, machine a variety of materials, both ferrous and nonferrous.

Duties

• Make sand moulds using no bake / chemically bonded sands using wood, single-use polystyrene foam, aluminum patterns and plastic patterns.
• Make cores using no bake / chemically bonded sands using wood and polystyrene core boxes
• Assemble 3D printed sand molds and cores.
• Set up, adjust and operate various mouldmaking and coremaking machines to make moulds and cores.
• Jobbing and Prototype Castings.
• Will be required to pour molten Gray and Ductile Iron into moulds that you made to produce iron castings.
• Must have knowledge of foundry practices in mold making and core making.
