Debt Counsellor Required at TPINE LEASING CAPITAL CORPORATION

Role: Debt Counsellor [(contract type for three years e.g., full-time, permanent term)]
Location: 6050 Dixie Rd, Mississauga, ON L5T 1A6
Salary: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour (To be Negotiated) working for an average of 30 to 40 hours per week.

• We are in an urgent need to hire a Debt Counsellor who has a minimum working experience of 1 year in banking or other financial institution

• The candidate must have a secondary (high) school education to be eligible for this position.

• We prefer someone who could evaluate the client's profile and further accept/refuse the automobile loan/lease applications.
• It is a fast paced environment, large caseload and tight deadlines.
• The candidate must have an excellent oral communication, written in English Language.

• The candidate must have a personal suitablities such as client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibilty, judgement and organized.

• A potential candidate have to undergo a criminal record check.

Peaks: We will be offering an overtime pay per hour after working 44 hours in any week. Further, we will be offering 10 days of paid vacation each calendar year

About you – preferred requirements for this role

An ideal candidate must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate along with minimum of 1 year of working experience as a Debt Counsellor or other relevant position in the financial industry.
Language Preference: English

Duties:

• Approve or reject applications, or recommend applications for approval or rejection

• Assist clients by proposing solutions to address financial issues such as financial planning and money management
• Complete credit or loan documentation and coordinate with clients to set a due date for monthly payment
• Assessing client’s annual income, other financial statements and credit score to evaluate their ability to repay loan
• Following up late payments and alert the customer to pay monthly installment to avoid overcharge of higher rate of interest
• Prepare a summary report of all default borrowers and submit it to management
• Propose new leasing policies to promote the sale of equipment and trucks to attract corporate and individual customers

Working Hours in each week – 30 to 40 hours
