Job Duties:
1. Collaborate with the kitchen team to prepare, heat, and complete basic food items as required, assist in portioning and wrapping food items for storage and service, maintaining quality and consistency.
2. Ensure dining tables are properly set with clean dishes, flatware, and necessary items for guests; Efficiently clear and clean dining tables after guests have finished their meals.
3. Load and operate dishwashers to clean dishes, glassware, and flatware promptly, safely store clean dishes in designated storage areas for easy accessibility.
4. Maintain a well-stocked and organized serving area, ensuring condiments and supplies are readily available.
5. Skillfully package take-out orders, ensuring items are secure and presented neatly.
6. Interact with guests, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly customer service.
7. Adhere to rigorous cleaning and sanitation practices, ensuring the kitchen is consistently clean and in compliance with food safety standards.
8. Receive deliveries, inspect supplies for quality and quantity, and store them appropriately.
9. Properly dispose of kitchen waste and trash to keep the kitchen clean and organized.
10. Maintain the kitchen knives, ensuring they are sharp and safe for use in food preparation.
11. Assist in the preparation of vegetables and fruit by washing, peeling, and cutting them as directed by the kitchen team.
Qualifications:
1. Completion of High School.
2. Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
4. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
5. Physical stamina to stand, lift, and perform various kitchen tasks.
6. A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
