Job Position - Hairstylist

Company Name - Gill Hair Salon Inc.

Address - 4 McLaughlin Rd S, Brampton ON L6Y 3B2

Wage - $17.50 hourly for 30 to 35 hours per Week

Term of Employment - Permanent employment Full Time

Shift: Day, Shift, Weekend

Start Date - as soon as possible.

Languages - English

Education - Secondary (High) School graduation certificate

Experience - 1 year to less than 2 years

Work setting – Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio

Responsibilities & Tasks –

• Shampoo customers' hair
• Supervise other hair stylists and other staff
• Analyze hair and scalp condition and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
• Apply hair extensions
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
• Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features or determine style from client's instructions and preferences

Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Credentials: Hairstylist Trade Certification
