Location: Scarborough, ON M1P 3E6

Salary: $32.10 per hour for 35 hours per week

Number of vacancies: 1

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Job Type: Permanent employment 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write efficient, clean, and well-documented code using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and others based on project requirements.
  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly web interfaces, considering both functionality and aesthetics.
  • Implement and maintain the client side of websites, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience across various devices.
  • Identify and fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and conduct thorough testing to ensure the reliability and performance of web applications.
  • Use version control systems, such as Git, to manage and track changes in code, facilitating collaboration and maintaining code integrity.
  • Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and overall performance, considering factors like page load times and resource efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices to protect websites and web applications from potential vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
  • Ensure websites are designed and developed to be responsive, adapting to different screen sizes and devices.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A CEGEP/ college diploma or equivalent is the minimal educational requirement.
  • Prior experience of 2 to 3 years is essential. 
  • Proficiency in languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and many more.
  • Strong coding and programming skills with an emphasis on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Understanding of web design principles and the ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Experience in testing and debugging processes to ensure the reliability and functionality of web applications.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, project manager, and potential clients.
