Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing content, including social media posts, blog articles, and promotional materials.
  • Manage and monitor social media accounts, engaging with the audience and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Analyze marketing data and metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and provide insights for optimization.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating events, trade shows, or promotional activities to enhance visibility.
  • Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including list management and performance tracking.
  • ] Assist in crafting customer communications, newsletters, and other materials to maintain positive relationships.
  • Often handles administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining marketing materials.
  • Basic graphic design skills for creating simple visuals and marketing collateral.
  • Assist in managing marketing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Generate reports on marketing performance, providing insights and recommendations for future strategies.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • A CEGEP/college diploma in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is required. 
  • Significant experience of 2 to 3 years in marketing, advertising, or a related field is crucial.  
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills are essential for creating content and collaborating with team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing software and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, such as social media management, email marketing, and content management systems, is beneficial.
  • Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, schedules, and deadlines effectively.
  • Being detail-oriented is crucial for proofreading materials and ensuring accuracy in campaigns.

Location: Oakville, ON L6J 7W5

Salary: $32.50 hourly for 35 hours per week

Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours

Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
