Position: Pump Systems Installer and repairer (72400)

Wage Rate: $30.00 per hour. 40 hours per week.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Weekend, Day, Evening shift, if required.

Language:  Fluent English

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

Education: High School Certificate required. College as asset. Ability to obtain a BC Driver’s Licence

Experience: 2-3 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience is required

Business Location: 23184 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC, V2Z 2V1

Work Location: Work at various locations in Lower Mainland, BC

Job Duties:

• Perform basic mechanical and electrical labor for pumps, electrical controls.
• Install, service and maintain submersible, jet, sewage, effluent and dewatering pumps.
• Install pressure tanks, switches, control boxes and drive system and calibrate.
• Take water samples.
• Ensure van is stocked for job and provisions are made with purchaser for appropriate parts.
• Review job plans and visit job site with salesperson or service manager if required.
• Perform flow tests and water system inspections.
• Disinfect wells and piping.
• Complete daily dispatch with details of parts used, description of work performed, per EDS work order policy including invoicing customer as required and obtaining a customer signature on work order.
• Collect payment for services on site as required.
