Immigration Consultant at Immigration Management ‘Si-Won’

Immigration Management ‘Si-Won’ is a consulting agency providing both immigration and education consulting services. Being one of the most reliable and highly reputable consulting agencies in the high-traffic Vancouver region, we are always inundated with new & different types of cases from clients inside Canada and across the globe who would like to call Canada their permanent abode. Currently, we are seeking to hire an Immigration Consultant who has a passion for both the Immigration and International education markets and who can help our hard-working and devoted employees and his/her fellow Immigration Consultants to efficiently manage the workload while ensuring that we provide our finest service with the utmost levels of care and attention which we take pride in.

 

Position: Immigration Consultant  

Wage: 27.00 – 37.00 per hour (negotiable depending on the qualification)

Working hours: 30 – 37.5 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Position Available: 1

Benefits: 2 weeks of paid vacation + five paid sick days per year + commission

Job Duties:

  • Conducting research, providing appropriate counseling services, and assembling different types of immigration, citizenship, and visa-related applications for submission on a case-by-case basis.
  • Demonstrating a high level of knowledge regarding recent developments and trends in the rapidly developing Canadian immigration industry.
  • Maintaining prompt correspondence, either in-person or virtually, with clients while providing the most up-to-date, precise, and complete immigration advice in all aspects of temporary residence applications, procedures, and general guidance on permanent residence.
  • Safeguarding the confidentiality and privacy of every client by holding in strict confidence all forms of information pertaining to, but not limited to, personal affairs unless consent for disclosure is authorized.
  • Collaborating with different departments, such as the sales department, and other Immigration Consultants to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication.
  • Ensuring that the completeness & accuracy of all immigration documents meet the demands and deadlines set by the corresponding Canadian agency.
  • Ensuring that the client information stored on the system is accurate and up to date to avoid unnecessary delays.

 

Qualification:

  • A bachelor's degree or college diploma in a social science or related discipline, or in business administration is usually required.
  • Prior registration with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least 3 + years of experience in the Immigration related field is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
