Job description:
Job position: Painter helper.
Vacancy: 2
Payrate: $22 per hour for 40 hours of work per week.
Job type: Full-time, Permanent.
start date: As soon As possible.
Work Setting: Various locations across lower mainland area.
Job Requirements:
Education: No education required.
Experience: No experience required. Will train
Language: English is required.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Fast paced environment, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, physically demanding.
Job duties:
- Load, unload, and transport construction material.
- Clean and pile salvaged material.
- Erect and dismantle scaffold as required on the jobsite.
- Carry tools for painters as required on the job site.
- Wash tools at the end of each shift.
- Perform other activities as directed by skilled painters.
- Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
- Select appropriate paint or mix paints.
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
