Role Description
- Developing and implementing long-term business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control to ensure the financial health and profitability of the company.
- Identifying opportunities for business growth, expansion, and diversification within the trucking industry.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Identifying and mitigating risks related to safety, operations, and business continuity.
- Leading and supervising a diverse team.
- Managing relationships with suppliers, maintenance providers, and other external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Developing and implementing safety programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and reduce accidents.
- Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve the company's overall performance.
- Staying informed about market trends, competition, and industry developments to make informed business decisions.
Role Eligibility
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
- 5 years + of experience in the trucking or transportation industry is crucial.
- Demonstrated success in leadership and management roles and achieving business objectives.
- The ability to think strategically and contribute to the development and execution of long-term business strategies.
- Effective communication skills for dealing with the team, external partners, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges, logistical issues, and other complexities in the trucking industry.
