Looking for a Young, Energetic Personal in Home Child Care Nanny for Infant


Start Date: 15th February 2024

Hello,

A wonderful family in North York is looking for a long term, live out nanny to care for their expected bundle of Joy in starting February. We will be a family of 3 and I plan to soon return to work after baby as I am currently involved in work assignments that I have to complete. Some light house work would be involved and majorly substitute the absence of a mother during working hours. If you have experience caring for a new born baby, we would love to hear from you! As this is a long term position, we need the caregiver to be a pro who can manage both infant, toddler years with ease.

The ideal candidate is high energy, loyal, kind and with a big heart, trustworthy & reliable, enthusiastic, nurturing and of course, someone who genuinely loves babies.

Job Duties:

Newborn to Infant – 1 to 9 months duties

 

  • Supervise the baby during your scheduled shift.
  • Bath, dress and change diapers.
  • Feed the baby formula from time to time and ensure he is full. Put baby to sleep and watch while sleeping.
  • Shop for baby products from Pharmacy and other stores as required for babies use.
  • Spend time caring for and playing with baby and help with baby milestones.
  • Take baby out to nearby park and ensure his safety while outside the house on daily basis.
  • Clean and organise baby’s room and prepare his bed every day.
  • Wash, Iron and organise baby’s laundry on daily basis during his naps.
  • Communicate with baby in English, Hindi and Kannada (Preferred as we speak these 3 languages)
  • Must introduce Islamic prayers and values to the infant.
  • Support baby socially, emotionally and mentally as family member.
  • Travel with family to outings, dinners etc. and care for and monitor during such visits.
  • Inform me immediately if there is any notable concern in baby’s behaviour or health.
  • Assist with doctor’s visit and vaccine’s visit etc.
  • Perform other task as assigned.

Toddler – 9 months to 30 months duties

  • Supervise the Toddler during your scheduled shift.
  • Bath, dress and help potty train and change diapers.
  • Prepare fresh Indian food every day for lunch and dinner for baby only, source the raw material if required from nearby stores and serve meals from time to time, feed or assist in feeding if required.
  • Ensure the toddler follows nap time and play time schedule.
  • Escort to nearby park and ensure his safety while outside the house on daily basis. Involve into games and learning activities etc.
  • Must introduce Islamic prayers and values to the toddler.
  • Clean and organise toddler’s room & washroom and prepare his bed every day.
  • Wash, Iron and organise toddler’s laundry thrice a week.
  • Must be able to help incorporate Islamic values and principle in his life style.
  • Support toddler socially, emotionally and mentally as family member.
  • Inform me immediately if there is any notable concern in child’s behaviour or health.
  • Assist with doctor’s visit and vaccine’s visit etc.
  • Travel with family to outings, dinners etc. and care for and monitor during such visits.
  • Perform other task as assigned.

 

Work Location Information: Employers home in North York, Ontario

Contract length: Permanent Full Time

Weekly hours: 35 per week

Job Types: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: 7 hour rotational shift between 7 am to 10 pm

 

Successful candidate must have the following:

ü  Must have minimum graduate level credentials

ü  Must have minimum 2 years of work experience working as a child care provider or caring for babies

ü  Must have cared for own biological children as well.

ü  Must be a Muslim with Indian/Pakistani background (preferably from Telangana) having sound knowledge of Islamic hygienic principals, prayer rituals and Indian background cultural knowledge.

ü  Must know to cook delicious meals and be willing to learn our methods to help baby develop similar taste.

ü  Must be able to communicate effectively in Urdu/Hindi, Kannada (Preferred) and Moderate English is acceptable.

ü  Applicant must be hardworking, energetic, caring and sensitive to children

ü  Knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) is an asset.

ü  Good time management skills

ü  Must be decent, well-mannered, dress appropriately and must respect other family members when they are around.

ü  Must be vaccinated for Covid-19

ü  Must be able to work rotational shifts

ü  Must be Punctual, Dependable, Flexible, and Reliable with Effective interpersonal skills

 

Note:


This job is not on live in basis, and applicant must have own housing, means of travel etc.

Grocery and other bills must be paid using credit card provided and all invoices must be maintained.

Applicant must have authorisation to work in Canada

No Students as this is a full time position.

Successful applicant will be required to provide clear Criminal record check
