Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of semi-trucks and trailer
- Diagnose faults and malfunctions and advise customer whether to repair or replace unit using testing equipment’s and software
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components, if instructed
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
- Repair heavy diesel engine trucks
Skills Requirement
- Completion of secondary school is required
- At least 1 year of experience with diesel engines, steering and suspension, brake systems, fuel and emission systems, ignition and electrical systems, driveline malfunctions, cooling and heating systems and truck-trailer repair required
- Bachelor’s Degree, Trade Certification or any Vocational Program related to Automotive or Mechanical Industry is an asset
