Job description:
Location: Brampton, ON L6S 0E9
Salary: $27.50 per hour for 35 hours per week

Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions and maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
- Process invoices, verify discrepancies, and manage payments and monitor accounts for timely collections and payments.
- Perform regular bank statement reconciliations; address and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Generate standard financial reports, such as profit and loss statements along with prepare financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Process payroll accurately, including tax deductions and compliance
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring. Provide insights into budget variances.
- Maintain compliance with accounting regulations and maintaining the financial documentation for audits.
- Utilize accounting software proficiently and staying updated on software advancements and industry best practices.
Eligibility Requirements:
- College/ CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English communication both oral and written.
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
