Job description:
Wage: $39.57 per hour + benefits according to UNION collective agreement (full-time position; 40 hours per week)
Location of Work: Various locations across the Greater Ottawa Area and Province of Ontario
Job Description:
- Formwork used in concrete construction
- Assist with the construction of temporary wooden structures and supports
- Assist with building foundations and installing shoring
- Assist with the building and installing of platforms, scaffolding, ramps and ladders
- Determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Assist with the preparation of layouts
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood materials
- Operate power tools
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of construction experience
- Ability to learn and develop practical skills
- Capable of observing all health and safety codes
