Job Title: Salon Sales Supervisor (NOC: 62010)

Terms of Employment: Full-time/Permanent, 30-40 hours per week

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Wage: $27.50 – $29.50 Per Hour (Depending on experience)

Job Duties:

• Supervise, co-ordinate, assign and review the work activities of salon staff
• Plan work schedules for salon staff
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests and complaints
• Hire and train or arrange for the training of new salon staff on job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain adequate supply stock of products used by ordering in timely manner and keep updated records of costs and revenues
• Ensure the salon’s image is maintained including displays, signage, and cleanliness
• Payment authorizations and returns of merchandise
• Monitor the quality of service and report on performance
• ·         May assist in performing some keyholding and managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing and implementing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries
• ·         May perform other duties as needed as per the job requirement

Skills Requirements

Education: Completion of secondary school is required

Experience:

• Minimum of1-2 years’ experience in a salon setting or related industry, or 1-2 years’ experience in sales

Language: Ability to communicate in oral and written English is required

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast paced environment; Work under pressure; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods of time.
