Position: Window Installer
Main Duties:
- Review blueprints and/or work orders to determine installation requirements.
- Measure and mark installation locations according to specifications.
- Safely remove old windows, accurately measure, and fit new windows into prepared openings, and Secure windows in place using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Install trim or molding around windows for a finished appearance.
- Test installed windows for proper operation, ensuring it works smoothly according to its mechanism.
- Address any issues or deficiencies promptly and effectively to repair the window and its parts.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Perform routine maintenance on installed windows as needed.
- Conduct final inspections to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Report any issues or challenges encountered during installations and provide feedback to supervisors or management regarding process improvements or customer feedback.
Terms of employment: Terms of Contract (3 years), full-time
Work hours per week: 30
Wage: $27.00 hourly
benefits: 4% paid vacation
Education requirements: completion of secondary school
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Language: speak English, Read English, Write English
