Job Description:
- Move items and materials onto and off moving trucks or vans.
- Perform other tasks such as opening containers and boxes, stacking items in the warehouse.
- Loading docks of warehouses and industrial establishments to store and retrieve materials in warehouses
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
- To do other basic material handling activities such as sorting, counting, weighing, packing and unpacking.
- Operate winches and other loading devices to load and unload materials onto and off trucks, cars.
- Operate equipment and conveyors to transfer materials from transportation vehicles to elevators, bins or other storage areas
- Receiving inventory and checking the items and materials.
