Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles
- Perform labouring duties in warehouses
- Secure cargo properly using straps, chains, or other securing mechanisms to prevent shifting or damage during transportation.
- Maintain effective communication with the truck driver, providing guidance during maneuvers, and staying alert to any safety instructions.
- Complete necessary paperwork related to shipments, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and any other required documentation.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks on the truck or equipment, such as checking fluid levels or inspecting tires.
