Food Supervisor
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the staff who prepare, portion and serve food to clients.
Provide direction and leadership to the food preparation team and ensure all standard operating procedures are followed
Supervise the common areas for safety and cleanliness
Maintain records of stock and order inventory in anticipation of the food needs
Train and develop all team members so that we foster a knowledgeable, personal, and customer-focused culture at Canalta
Maintain familiarity with the composition of all food menu items
Qualifications: (experience needed and education)
At least two years of experience in the food service sector, including at least six months in a supervisory capacity.
Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food service an asset
Must be flexible on the work schedule as the person will be required to work on various shifts (day, evenings, weekends)
Salary: $19.00-23.00 / hour
Vacation: 2 weeks per year after first year worked

Job Type: Full-time permanent, minimum 32 hours per week
Language: English speaking is required.
