Position; User Support Technician (NOC 22221)

No of Vacancies: 1

Wages: $35.00/hr @ 40 hours per week.

Education: Completion of a college program in computer science, computer programming or network administration.

Experience- 1 month to less than 7 years

Employment Groups: Youth, Veterans, Disabled People, Newcomers, and Indigenous people.

Job Duties:

• Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced.
• Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions.
• Reproduce, diagnose and resolve technical problems encountered by users.
• Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
• Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
• Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use
• Participate in the redesign of applications and other software.
• Provide technical support to al the users.
• Make reports on the system failures and other technical issues
• Buy new and updated systems and softwares for the business.
