Holiday Inn Express & Suites Terrace is located in Thornhill/Terrace, BC. It is a great place to start enjoying Mother Nature from the moment you arrive at the hotel. We are currently hiring full-time Food Service Helpers who can provide food service support for smooth operation of Holiday Inn Express & Suites Terrace.

Position Title: Food Service Helper

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Estimated Starting Date: As Soon As Possible

Wage: $16.75 - $17.75 per hour (Depending on Working Experience)

Work Hours: 30 hours per week

Position Available: 2

Work Location: 3059 Hwy 16 East, Thornhill, British Columbia V8G 4P3

Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay

Responsibility:

• Wipe, clean and sanitize trays, tables, and chairs in eating areas
• Clean, mop and dry wet or contaminated floors in eating areas
• Restock food, sauces, and other supplies in servewares and refrigerators
• Bring, stack and distribute clean dishes, cutleries and other items including napkins
• Collect used dishes and cutleries into a tray box
• Support Food Service Supervisor and report any incidents or accidents to the Supervisor

Qualification:

• Completion of secondary school or equivalent is required
• On-the-job training will be provided
• Customer-focused
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
