 Ballowal Furnishings Inc. is a furniture Store set up in British Columbia. We provide wide range of Furniture for domestic and commercial sectors.  We urgently need of an “Administrative Assistant” to take care of our store’s daily operations.

Designation: Administrative Assistant

Hours: Permanent Employment/ full Time
Language Requirement: English
Qualification: Secondary (high) School Graduation Certificate.
Experience: 1 to 2 years
Wage: C$29.00/hr. / 32 hr./Week
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
Location: 8385 120 St. Delta, BC V4C 6R1

Job duties of Administrative Assistant (NOC: 13110):

  • Manage all the administration work like answering telephones, electronic enquiries and relaying telephone calls and messages.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for customers who wish to consult with sales associate or design professionals.
  • Manage contracts with the clients and customers.
  • Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations.
  • Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person.
  • Filing and documentation of data and statistics for easy accessible
  • Input and maintain accurate information in the database, including customer profiles, inventory records, sales transactions and other information.
  • Keep track of deliveries and returns.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  • Use relevant software and tools for tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and customer communication.
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Provide customer service
  • Maintain and manage digital database and conduct performance reviews
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating events, such as sales promotions.

 

Additional Skills and Physical Capabilities

Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work, Fast-paced environment; must be a team player, client focused, having a strong organization and planning skills. Have excellent written and verbal communication. Have knowledge of Google Docs, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
