Job description:
Location: Scarborough, ON M1P 4Y1
Salary: $44.25 per hour for 35 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive test plans based on system requirements and specifications.
- Define test objectives, strategies, and test cases.
- Execute functional, integration, and regression tests to validate system behavior.
- Identify defects, document issues, and work with developers to resolve them.
- Develop and implement automated testing scripts to increase efficiency and coverage.
- Execute and maintain automated test suites.
- Conduct performance testing to assess system scalability, responsiveness, and stability.
- Analyze and optimize system performance based on test results.
- Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Create detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with software developers to understand system architecture and functionality.
- Provide training to team members on testing methodologies and tools.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
- Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven experience as a Quality analyst or related profession for 2-3 years.
