Job description:
Location: Calgary, AB T3J 0J8
Salary: $38.10 per hour for 35 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, and execute marketing strategies and campaigns to strengthen the company’s market presence;
- Oversee all creative projects, including graphic design, photography, print, web design, and content creation;
- Create goals and objectives to approach customers through social media across multiple platforms;
- Manage creation, execution, and implementation of daily social media and monthly marketing initiatives;
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop messaging, storytelling,and copywriting; and Schedule, plan, and implement all brand events and launches.
- Support marketing executives in organizing various projects
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating reports/ questionnaires
- Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
- Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
Eligibility Requirements:
- A CEGEP/college in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Typically, 2-3 years’ experience in marketing or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
- Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts
- Excellent time management skills
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities
- Ability to spot emerging trends
- Familiarity with social media, social networking, email marketing and search engines
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
