Position Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant
Start Date: June 1, 2024
Reports to: Housekeeping Manager

Position Summary:
Housekeeping room attendants provide for the comfort and health of guests at the Quarterdeck Resort by ensuring that guest rooms and public spaces are cleaned, sanitized, and pleasingly presented. A housekeeping room attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and visitors.
Key Accountabilities:
- Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks guest rooms and public spaces with confidentiality and professionalism in mind. With a focus on maintaining the safety and health of all.
- Responds in a timely fashion to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items such as extra supplies.
- Maintain inventories of necessary supplies in housekeeping caddies, storerooms and other work locations. Notifies Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor of restocking needs.
- Monitors the condition of guest room equipment including door locks and reports necessary maintenance items in a timely fashion, to Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.
- Maintain a favorable working relationship withal other company employees and guests to foster and promote a working environment that maximizes morale, productivity, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Work at a fast pace while still being mindful of quality of work.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, i.e., shiftwork, Holidays, overtime, and weekends.
- Previous commercial housekeeping experience
Work Conditions:
- Must adhere to the company dress code, while also dressing in preparation for the weather of the day.
- Capable of lifting 20 pounds/9 kilograms regularly and repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, scrubbing, operating cleaning equipment, and reaching above one’s head in order to clean.
- Capable of going up and down stairs several times during a shift while carrying equipment
