Logistics Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• 1. Plan and schedule delivery routes, considering factors such as distance, traffic, and time constraints.
  2. Liaise with clients to gather information about their moving needs and provide updates on the status of their shipments.
  3. Supervise and coordinate packing services for clients who require assistance with packing their belongings.
  4. Plan and coordinate logistics for moves involving apartment and condo relocations, considering factors like elevators, parking restrictions, and access limitations.
  5. Implement quality control measures to ensure that items are handled and transported with care.
  6. Develop contingency plans and protocols to address unexpected issues or emergencies during the moving process.
  7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies in logistics operations.
  8. Oversee the inventory of moving supplies, including packing materials, boxes, and equipment.

JOB DETAILS:

Job Title: Logistics coordinator

Experience Required: 1 year to less than 2 years

Education Required: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

COMPENSATION & HOURS:

Salary: $29.20 CAD Per Hour

Working hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

Overtime Rate: $43.80 per hour starting after 44 hours per week

Holiday pay: 4% of gross pay
