Job description:
Location: Edmonton, AB T6X 0J4
Salary: $29.25 per hour for 35 hours per week
Number of vacancies: 1
Overtime: 1.5 times of gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period
Job Type: Permanent employment
Eligibility Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree or college diploma related to commerce or economics may be required.
- Prior experience of 2 to 3 years in financial services, banking, or related roles is required.
- Understanding and adherence to financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to engage in cold-calling, promote financial products, and suggest solutions to improve clients' financial situations.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and market trends.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and convey complex financial information.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and client referrals.
- Cold-calling potential clients to inform them of the various financial products and services on offer.
- Meet with customers to discuss short-term and long-term financial needs and goals
- Monitor changes in financial markets to best advice clients
- Determining customers' needs and providing solutions with regards to their investment requirements.
- Build relationship with the client/customer to create opportunities for various products to fulfil the customer’s financial needs.
- Evaluate and manage risks associated with different financial products and investments.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and compliance with industry standards.
- Gain and demonstrate a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements allowing for clear articulation of our product/brand value proposition
- Work closely with customer service, account management, claims, contracts and any other teams as required or requested
- Develops sales campaigns in alignment with company goals
- Reviews market analysis information to determine customer needs, volume potential, and pricing
