Location: 5004 33rd Street Sylvan Lake, Alberta T4S 1A9 

Salary: $17.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment/ Full time - Day, Evening, Weekend, Night, Morning

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Languages-English

• Completion of secondary school is usually required.
• Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks
  or
  Completion of college or other program in cooking
  or
  2-3 commercial cooking experience are required.

Work setting – Restaurant, Hotel

Tasks

Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods,

Inspect kitchens and food service areas,

Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food,

Order supplies and equipment,

Supervise kitchen staff and helpers,

Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment,

Clean kitchen and work areas,

Manage kitchen operations

Work conditions and physical capabilities
