We are currently searching for two experienced Construction Painters.
Work Location:
Various locations in the GTA
Duties:
- Preparing walls and other surfaces before painting.
- Apply paint to surfaces including wall, floors, doors, Baseboards and cabinets.
- Mix, match and apply paint, Varnish, sealant, shellac, enamel and others finishes.
- Scrape, sandpaper, prime or seal.
- Clean Walls to ensure proper adherence.
- Covering exposed Surfaces with cloth, paper or plastic to ensure protection.
- Erect scaffolding, moves furniture and equipment as necessary.
- Work on Ladders to reach high ceilings or walls.
- Remove fixtures such as a pictures, doorknobs, lamps and electric switch covers prior to painting.
- Fill cracks and to do patches when necessary
- tape off areas when needed.
- Apply touch-ups .
- Apply several Coats according to paint directions.
- Utilize Spray guns for large jobs, doors, baseboards and cabinets.
- Remove paint splatters when finished.
- Clean up the entire area and all equipment’s including brushes and spray gun.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive with spray finish and wood finishing specializations with Graining, Marbleizing, Staining and Glazing.
You will be required to train apprentices.
