Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible.

Work Location: 16108 Blundell Road, Richmond, BC, V6W 0A2 Canada 

Wage rate: $30/hour for 40 hours/week.

Education: Secondary (high) School Graduation Certificate

Experience: Minimum 1 years to less than 2 years

Language: English.

Job Duties: 

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials for repair of container floor.
• Install and supervise wooden blocking and bracing of ocean containers and wooden pallet construction;
• Maintain repair of wooden structures in the establishment;
• Supervise bracers/apprentices and other workers May prepare cost estimates.
• May prepare cost estimates.

Additional Skills: Team working, Problem solving, Decision making & Continuous learning. Work under pressure

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, overtime required.
