Position : Construction Helper

Vacancy : 01

Terms of Employment: Full Time and Permanent (Overtime, weekends if required)

Wage:  $23.00 per hour (37.50 hours per week)

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Location: 15483 77 Ave, Surrey, BC, V3S 1C2

Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations as per the company’s contract.

Job Duties:

• Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, shoring, and barricades required at job site.
• Mix, pour and install materials such as concrete, membrane, etc.
• Assist carpenter with wood frame restoration, stucco restoration, sheet metal work.
• Operate power tools.
• Assist with levelling surface areas.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Job Requirements:

Education: No Degree, Certificate or Diploma required

Experience: Experience an asset.

Language: Basic English.

Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, Work at heights, must be able to lift 25 lbs.
