Bear Country Inn Ltd., also known as Bear Country Inn, is located in the downtown area of Terrace. We strive to provide a luxurious experience at an affordable price, catering to both business and leisure travelers. Our hotel boasts 57 rooms with convenient outdoor entrances, ensuring easy access for our guests. Additionally, we offer free parking services, on-site restaurants, and a meeting room. Currently, we are looking for a qualified Motel Managing Supervisor to support the employer in organizing schedules and handling necessary paperwork associated with our business operations.

Job Title: Motel Managing Supervisor

Wage: $23.00 to $24.00 (Depending on Working Experience)

Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Position Available: 1

Benefit: 4% vacation pay or 10 business days of paid vacation

Working Location: 4702 Lakelse Ave, Terrace, B.C., V8G 1R6

Job Duties:

• Prepare work schedules.
• Oversee the overall operation of the hotel during the day or night time hours depending on the shift.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints and work-related issues.
• Hire, train, and supervise staff.
• Organize reports on the stock of supplies and the operation.
• Ensure that safety procedures and company policies are met.
• Monitor and assist front desk clerks.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of a community college program in front desk operations, hotel management, or related discipline OR at least 1+ years of related experience are required.
• Great team player and multi-tasking ability.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
