Baketurk Foods Co Ltd. is a family-owned Turkish-style bakery kitchen established in 2018. We are bakers who feed the local community with the bonafide taste of ancient Turkish home and street delicacies using only the finest ingredients we can pronounce. (Additive-free, No chemicals). When we say ancient, WE MEANIT! Simit, also known as the Turkish Bagel that we named after our business, has an important place in Turkish culture and dates back about 600 years.

Baker
Description
Bakers prepare bread, rolls, muffins, pies, pastries, cakes, and cookies in retail and wholesale bakeries and dining establishments. They are employed in bakeries, supermarkets, catering companies, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, and other institutions, or they may be self-employed. Bakers who are supervisors are included in this unit group. Apprentices are also included in this unit group.
Job Duties
Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders
Bake the mixed dough and batters
Frost and decorate cakes or other baked goods
Ensure the quality of products meets established standards
Draw up a production schedule to determine the type and quantity of goods to produce
Purchase baking supplies
May oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods
May hire, train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
Job Requirements
– Experience in Turkish bakery products: Simit(authentic Turkish bagel) ,Pogca ( Savory bun ), Bourek( hand made filo stuffed), Acma (soft bagel), Baklava (producing with handmade filo), Gozleme ( Turkish stuffed flat-bread) with at least 3- 5 years of experience
– experience in handling fast-paced production
– Being able to produce Hand-made, scratch bakery products
– Passionate for quality, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic to prosper in our fast-paced environment
– Perform various tasks in the production area including general duties involving physical handling of production materials and supplies such as mixer, commercial ovens, proofer, simit ( bagel) producing machine.
