Lin's Take Out Restaurant serves delicious Chinese food, providing eat-in and take-out services. trustworthy restaurant with encouraging working environment. With over 10 years' operation and development, our restaurant runs stable. Now we are hiring a permanent full-time cook specializing in Chinese food preparation and Chinese cuisine. Two to three years of cook experience is preferred.

The wage is $15-16.5 CAD per hour, with higher expectation in the future. We will offer work-time meals and residency if you want a place to live in.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete Chinese meals and individual dishes using authentic recipes, spices, and food products.
• Design and plan menus;
• Prepare dished of the day with certain portions;
• Determining the size of food portions, estimating food requirements and costs;
• Maintain inventory and records of food and supplies;
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers, train kitchen helpers as needed;
• Maintain kitchen operations, clean work area and follow safety regulations.

Employment requirements:

• Completion of secondary school or equivalent program in cooking is required
• 2-3 years’ cooking experience in Chinese Cuisine as either a Chef or a Cook in a restaurant, hotel or resort setting is required
• Have a culinary certificate or equivalent credentials
• Chinese/Mandarin is an asset

Salary：$15-16.5/hour, 40 hours/week
