Locations: Markham, Scarborough, Fairview Mall, and Richmond Hill

Lucullus Bakery is seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team as Cooks at our Markham, Scarborough, Fairview Mall, and Richmond Hill locations. We are a renowned bakery known for our delicious and freshly cooked dishes, and we are looking for talented individuals who can contribute to our reputation for excellence.

 

As a Cook at Lucullus Bakery, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and creativity while preparing high-quality dishes that bring delight to our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, surrounded by a team of passionate chefs.

 

Cooks perform some or all of the following duties:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including sandwiches, salads, quiches, soups, and other bakery-related items, while adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Execute special menus and catering orders, accommodating customer requests and dietary restrictions.
  • Monitor food quality and taste to ensure dishes meet bakery's standards, making adjustments as needed.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.

 

Employment requirements

  • Completion of secondary school is usually required.
  • Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks

 

Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Monday to Friday

40 hours/week

$16.55/HR

 

Skills: Flexibility: Being open and willing to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the food service industry.
