Woodland Kitchen Cabinets Ltd. Is a well know Wood Cabinet Manufacture company based in Mission British Columbia.
We are currently hiring for Two (02) full-time Permanent Carpenters for their company.
Requirements:
- Completion of High School Education is required.
- Completion of any education in Carpentry field or more than 2 years of experience in related field is required.
- Knowledge of English Language
Job duties:
- Operating woodworking machines and using hand tools to cut shape and form wood.
- Fitting parts together using glue and clamps.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
- Build cabinets, doors, and other structures of wood.
- Reinforcing joints using nails or screws
- Sanding wooden surfaces and applying veneer, stain or polish to finish products.
- Trimming joints
- Repairing and restyling wooden fixtures
- Marking outlines or dimensions on wood
- Estimate costs and materials.
Salary: $30.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
Benefits: 4% Vacation or 10 days of paid leaves per year.
