Salary and Benefits
Salary: $31.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications, accurately laying out, measuring, and marking sheet metal as per detailed plans.
- Operate a variety of metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal with precision.
- Work with power tools and manual methods to tailor materials to certain dimensions and shapes.
- Install sheet metal products in accordance with precise specifications and building codes, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and structural integrity.
- Ensure seamless integration and a high-quality finish in the final assembly by fitting and joining sheet metal parts.
- Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces to achieve a smooth, polished finish.
- Perform thorough inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain metalworking machinery and equipment for optimal performance and safety.
- Assist in handling, transporting, and storing sheet metal products efficiently.
- Collaborate with other members of the team to coordinate projects and resolve problems.
- Observe all workplace safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations.
- Create custom sheet metal products according to unique specifications and requirements.
- Assemble and construct sheet metal components using welding techniques.
- As needed, perform other essential duties.
Job Requirements
- Completion of secondary school.
- Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program or minimum 3 years of work experience.
- Trade certification would be an asset but not mandatory.
- Functional English.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
