Position: Construction Labourer

Salary: $27.50 per hour

Overtime and Vacation Pay

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible.

Work Location: Various construction sites in Surrey (BC) and other areas within the Lower Mainland area, BC as per the company’s work contracts with its clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespersons by carrying tools and materials and helping in their other construction activities such as taking measurements, holding materials, assembling etc.
• Put up and take down scaffoldings, ramps and barricades at construction sites
• Load, unload, stack and move required materials to the work site.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site by handling materials and storing them properly, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use, and securing the job site on a daily basis.
• Remove rubble and debris from the work site.
• Follow all health and safety regulations at work sites.

Job Requirements

• Some work experience as a construction labourer would be an asset.
• Candidates should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and in all weather conditions.
