Duties and Responsibilities of a Marketing Specialist:
- Collaborating across departments to devise and execute marketing campaigns effectively
- Strategizing and managing seasonal promotions, events, or informational sessions
- Ensuring accuracy and currency of information across social media platforms
- Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders within the business
- Utilizing analytics and competitive research to inform campaign creation
- Maintaining open lines of communication with managers and department heads
- Assessing product or service characteristics to determine marketing needs
- Providing clients with strategic advice on marketing, advertising, and sales promotion
- Managing social media accounts, including handling customer feedback
- Creating, implementing, and evaluating public relations strategies and programs
- Conducting surveys to understand the interests and concerns of target audiences
- Crafting various written materials such as reports, speeches, etc.
- Organizing events and programs for publicity, fundraising, and information dissemination
- Arranging media interviews, conferences, and other promotional events
- Serving as a spokesperson for the organization and addressing inquiries
- Coordinating special publicity events for both internal and external audiences
- Overseeing the preparation of contracts for various purposes, such as sports or performance engagements.

Employment requirements
- Secondary education is required.
- A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology, or a discipline related to a particular subject matter is usually required.
Or
- One or two years of experience in marketing, sales, media, or business management.
You will be working for a minimum of 30 hrs. /week (Full-time) at CAD 32.00/hr.
