Position Duration:                         Permanent, Full-Time (will consider part-time as well)
Hours:                                             35-40/wk
Salary:                                              $23.00/hr
Overtime:                                       $34.50/hr (As per BC Provincial Standards- for over 8 hrs/day; 40 hrs/wk)

Observed Holidays:                       As outlined on labour.gov.bc.ca – 10 stat holidays/yr

Experience:                                     7 months to less than 1 year of experience required

Ability to Supervise:                      3-4 people

Job Duties:

• Manage cashiers, baggers, and customer service staff
• Ensure that checkout lines are moving efficiently, and customers are satisfied with their experience
• Monitor the cash registers and ensure that all transactions are accurate
• Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that arise
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff
• Monitor inventory of supplies, such as bags and receipt paper, and order as needed
• Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures, as well as any applicable laws and regulations
• Participate in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions when necessary
• Provide excellent customer service and lead by example for the front-end staff.
