A full-time permanent position to care for an elderly person needs companionship. Work days are flexible, from Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week. Help with all ADLs or activities of daily living. Duties include meal preparation, feeding, serving nutritious food, assisting in personal hygiene, toileting, bathing, dressing, medication administration, knowing how to use and assist a wheelchair, accompanying to activities and doctor's appointments, maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home, and doing laundry.
Able to read, write, and speak fluently in English. Credentials: First Aid Certificate, CPR. Security and Safety: Criminal Record Check. Reference required.
High school graduate. Must have experience in elderly for the past year or equivalent experience, certified training as a caregiver. Non-smoking.
Salary 22.00/hr + Worker Compensation + Bus pass
